Jellooooo! :-P Hope everyone is doing great ^.^ Today I am so happy! I spoke to a very special friend after eons of being away from each other... Well, more like 3 years, and sheesh... I missed him, so much! ^.^ Hopefully we will stay in touch! He even joined FB and Twitter so *wink* we will be stalking each other. Hell, he might even be reading this right now: HII BG!!!! XOXO~
Random fact: Since we have not spoken in almost 3 years, we decided to write a story/book [whatever floats yer boat] for each other narrating everything that has happened in the past years apart! I am so excited!!
Well, yesterday I did not read at all,THE SHAME!! I was supposed to meet up with an old friend of mine from high school, and I should have seen it coming, but still I trusted that this time was going to be different... And for the 3rd time he bailed on moi... So that means, next time, do not even bother calling if you are going to pull off the same esssss! Buuuut- I went to the movies with my bro to watch Sherlock Holmes and Avatar, but we could not see Avatar though *sad*. We went to the one by the Lincoln Center so you can imagine that after the charming Sherlock Holmes movie, a visit to Barnes & Noble was in order.
Let me just say: The movie was freaking hot! And I am not saying this just because Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. are two of my top Hotties-hot-hotties non-fictional list! :-P But nah... For real, the movie was amazing and the only real problem I had was that sometimes the speech was hard to understand; but who knows, that might be just me. I loved the way it was filmed and of course... The characters! Especially Holmes... Jeesh- Witty, sarcastic and smart; and not to mention black and kindda long-ish hair *drop dead* that's my weakness (and perfect guy if you ask me)! I am still drooling over here :-P The music was pretty fantastic as well... But c'mon, is Hans Zimmer we are talking about! He is all kinds of bottled up talent and awesome (just between us, I have been his fan on FB ever since PotC3!) But all in all, the movie was fantastilistic and totally worth it! :-)
After the movie we went to a much deserved 'trip' [one block away] to B&N and sweetness... I just love the smell of books! ^.^ And my bro got me Lauren Kate's Fallen and Scott Westerfeld's Pretties, Specials, and Extras (I already had Uglies) and the three of them SIGNED!!! How awesome is that?? We also got me this oh-so-cute Red Heart-Shaped 3D puzzle (which we did in almost two hours) because I just fell in love with it. I admit though, that it is the hardest puzzle ever! But like I said (on FB) Love is indeed the hardest puzzle to solve, so it was just proving my theory *wink-wink*
^.^
Also, the rest of the day, after we got home, consisted of countless hours of RockBand-ing! *hehe* Not ashamed to admit because my bro got me two of my fave songs: Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire and 3 Doors Down's Kriptonite *Insert happy fangirl screams* ME LOVES THOSE SONGS! And to celebrate, I even sang -Mind you, I hate singing on that freaking mic.- And I rocked! People, do not hate on my mad singing skillzzz! So, I got to live my dream of being a rock-star for a few minutes... Okay, maybe more because I kept replaying the songs, to my bro's horror!

Okie then, up to the serious part of this... BOOKS! *giggles* So: On with Book#4 of the break! :-D
I usually go to B&N with an idea of what I want, but sometimes I go just to see books and let them call to me[I am weird like that, I know]. So the other day -not even a mont ago- I went with my fam. I mostly gravitate between YA's, Sci-Fi and Fiction, and that day this book screamed my name -Loud and clear. Shadowfae by Erica Hayes.

I just started readin Book#5 of the break, but sadly I cannot talk about this one.. Sorry! :-) It is like 350pgs and hopefully I will be done with it tonight! :-) So far, LOVING IT! (It is something a friend of mine wrote, not published... or at least not yet :-D)

Я, возвращаясь с корпоратива, не могла отказаться от авосек=doggy bags с морепродуктами и баварскими колбасками, сижу себе спокойно, никого не трогаю и только потом понимаю, что пятна на куртке вовсе не от снега, а от растекающегося соуса... аааа. Вывод: не надо паниковать раньше времени, мне помогло обычное средство для мытья посуды, теплая вода и кусок банного полотенца. Все. Выдохнула.

Шикарное издание с иллюстрациями Сергея Крестовского, хочу такое на полки, пока все книги не отвезла на дачу.
Меня всегда в романе поражал тот жизненный факт, что разорившиеся в пух и прах семейство Сидли продолжает держать кухарку.
Ещё люблю обложку с постером из экранизации с Риз Уизерспун 2004 года, Бекки Шарп из неё не очень, но сцена танцев до сих пор меня поражает.
(ааа, сейчас послушала, мы же под эту же песню отплясываем по субботам).

В Ритце давно и успешно используют в спа всякие крема и притирки фирмы ESPA , на сайте пишут, что продукция либо на 100, либо на 90 процентов натуральна.
Что можно попробовать? Да, практически все.
При входе на респешене огромная стойка с продукцией, которой очень весело намазаться потом, при выходе (так, подбила свою подружку, у которой обветриваются щёчки, попользоваться Essential Moisturising Balm).
В ванной комнате стоят Essential Cleansing Gel, лосьон для рук (не нашла на сайте), в душевой - гель, шампунь, кондиционер (тоже как-то не вижу их).
Скраб делали с нежным Exfoliating Body Polish, потому что я не переношу соль на коже, и потом мазали каким-то очень лёгким кремом, найду его только по запаху.
Фанатом не стала, но, может, быть как-нибудь получу в подарок и даже обрадуюсь.

Last night Dave and I discovered that cats like ham hocks. And that they'll leave bits of said ham hocks all over the house for you to find in the morning, even though you put them in the bathtub to prevent this. We also discovered that telling the cashier at UltraFoods in a very firm tone that the price on the meat is wrong, she'll enter in the amount you told her without calling for a price check (the price really was what we told her, but still).
Dave makes yummy cream cheese pasta. And speaking of Dave, I just want to mention how well the relationship is going. As I mentioned a few posts ago, our anniversary was this month, and I don't think I've ever been in a relationship I didn't want to get out of after the first six months. This one is different. I had a conversation with my cousin Molly on Christmas. She and I are the same politically, spiritually and intellectually, but when it comes to dating, we're opposites. I had my first boyfriend when I was 14, and from then on was never single for longer than a month (until 2008, in which I was single the whole year). Molly, on the other hand, was single her whole life until she was 19, when she met someone she really really liked (and thought she was going to marry). She's single now, as she's graduating and the boy is going to Toronto and Molly to NYC, and she mentioned needing to rediscover her single self, because she seemed to have lost it while dating that boy. I was the opposite. I was unsure of my single identity because I spent my formative teenage years in relationships, and at 25, I am worlds away from 14. I spent 2008 working on being comfortable with myself as an individual and not as half of a whole. That was hard for me, and it's hard for her. She also mentioned that she wants to experience another relationship before she decides if that boy is the one she wants, and I told her that, from someone with A LOT of relationship experience, you know when you're in a good one. THE POINT: I'm in a good place, and I'll write more in a locked post later I'm sure.
I was going to write this half-emo, half-ragey post about how awful my mom is being right now, but I don't feel like it anymore.
My back has been KILLING ME since I sat in my dad's car for the 4-hour roundtrip to my grandmother's house. My doctor gave me some anti-inflammatories that he claimed were also a painkiller, but he's a liar, js. They do not work, and my dad says they've never worked for him either. Even the muscle relaxers don't work. I fall asleep and wake up just as sore. >:|
